Archbishop Borders Students Engage in Advocacy Day
Students from Archbishop Borders School and St. Casimir School had the opportunity to experience the legislative process firsthand during Advocacy Day in Annapolis. They attended legislative sessions and gained insight into how their government operates. Maryland Senate President William C. Ferguson IV, a BOOST advocate, took time to meet with the students and posed for a photo, showing his support for Catholic education.
We are especially proud of Najla Miller, an Archbishop Borders teacher and participant in WEA’s Pay Performance Incentive Program, for her dedication to advocating for Catholic schools and empowering student leaders. Her efforts highlight the importance of strong educators who inspire students both inside and outside the classroom.
