We are delighted to announce that Kathleen Filippelli, a valued member of our board, has been honored with the Archdiocese of Baltimore's Education Medal. This prestigious award recognizes her outstanding contributions to Catholic education.

Kathleen retired in 2021 after an illustrious 44-year career as a teacher and administrator in Catholic schools in Philadelphia and Baltimore. Her final assignment was serving as principal of Holy Angels Catholic School, where she continued her lifelong mission of fostering academic excellence and spiritual growth.

Reflecting on her career, Kathleen shared, “The best part of teaching, for me, was the relationships that I forged.” She dedicated herself to building strong partnerships with parents, ensuring they felt confident that their children’s best interests were always at the heart of her work. Her commitment to trust and collaboration made a lasting impact on students, families, and school communities.

Please join us in congratulating Kathleen on this well-deserved recognition of her lifelong commitment to education and service!
